I’m now in Te Puia Springs (Wiki). I asked the reception of this building if I could buy a permit to be able to camp on the beaches along the way but the woman refused because I don’t carry chemical toilets… I don’t have any dollars with me anyway. Ok then, I will see what happens.

Tokomaru bay (Wiki) feels quite remote. There is some old “USA western” looking empty shops and few houses around. Not much seems happening around here.

After Tokomaru bay I climbed a very long slope. The temperature increased every minute: 25°, 26°, 27°!… Hey GPS, what are you doing? Are you expecting me to collapse along the way? 28°!!… Hey, stop! 29°…, 29.6°. Okay I need a rest…
