Gisborne, house painting, part 1

Yesterday Chris offered me to do some painting. Why not :-). I like this type of work opportunity. That’s cool, it’s like Wwoofing.

I’m learning different things so, one day, when I will have my own place, I will be able to do everything by myself. I like the idea :-).

The cyclist style looks very ridiculous… haha. I don’t want to stain my t-shirt and it’s pretty hot today anyway. This is a great opportunity to use my expensive heavy gumboots again :-). At least, I haven’t carried them for nothing.

Tareg in action :-). He comes from Afghanistan. He studies with Chris. Both of them are doing a PHD. They publish papers of their work and research from time to time. They are also writing a book narrating the life story of Tareg. He grew up during the war period. No one from his country ever wrote a book about it. He experienced the Russian invasion, the American invasion and so many other things nobody would dream of I think. It will be a very interesting book!
